Traditional Chinese Meridian Vinyasa (TCMV)
This class is dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals on the path towards healing and Self-knowledge.
The ancient philosophies of Yoga and Chinese medicine are sophisticated systems that offer maps of the body, mind, and soul; a different kind of anatomy that acknowledges the physical as well as the emotional. The combination of the ancient practices of yoga, meditation, and Traditional Chinese Medicine are powerful and holistic.
TCMV is a modern synthesis of these two ancient systems. TCMV sequences work in the same way that Asana works – it relies on the connection between the physical, emotional and spiritual. It uses physical methods to ease the flow of energy through the subtle channels and release muscle tension, joint pain, headaches, digestive issues, anxiety, depression, and more. The practice is a healing modality that can be applied to self or others.
This class includes a brief introduction to Meridians, the 5 Elements, acupressure, and a Meridian-Sequenced vinyasa practice.

The wise Heart – Mindfulness Meditation
This class is an opportunity to explore four beautiful qualities of the heart, the brahma-viharas. We will learn to skillfully meet what is here with the qualities of the heart: nonjudgmental loving and kindness, the clarity of compassion, the delight of genuine happiness and true joy, and the wisdom and balance that comes from equanimity. Refining the four brahma-vihara heart practices to support our own and others’ well-being.
The overall intention of the class is to develop a creative approach to the brahma-vihāra practices beyond the traditional practice method of reciting phrases of well-wishing and learning to customize the practices to suit your particular personality and life circumstances.
This class will include a short dharma talk, a guided meditation practice and a group discussion.
